-UFC Heavyweight Champ Cain Velasquez may not be ready to return by November as the UFC has tentatively planned, as he's not been cleared to use his left arm after a shoulder injury just yet, and doesn't want to come back until he's 100%. More on that with further analysis on his absence and delay at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser!
-UFC President Dana White made another preposterous statement in an interview with ESPN's Sportsnation on Wednesday, saying that “PEDs have been cleaned up in the UFC.” The full ridiculous comment along with commentary in the main listing.
-Scott Jorgensen has been given one last opportunity for the flyweight division, as he'll fight Danny Martinez at UFC Fight Night in Albuquerque on June 7. More details on both fighters' recent runs in the main listing.
-UFC 172 hits Saturday night, and MMATorch UK Columnist Dan Moore is running his prediction and betting games for the event. Hit the main listing for details on how to play!
-Our morning poll today is looking for predictions on the co-main event for UFC 172 between Phil Davis and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. Thus far, I'm a little surprised that votes are split between the two. 40% think Davis wins a decision; another 40% think Johnson scores a TKO, with the rest of the votes spread out from there. Get your votes in now.
We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
