The UFC will not make their return to Chicago this November, despite rumors that UFC 123 would be heading to the city on November 20.
According to UFC vice president of regulatory affairs Marc Ratner in comments made to MMAFighting.com, the rumors are simply untrue, though the organization was looking at the city's United Center initially.
"The circus is in town at the United Center," Ratner said. "We're looking at different venues – we had to wait for the NBA schedule to come out officially yesterday, and we'll probably make a decision for Nov. 20 in the next week...
