Who wins the Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Jessica Penne fight, and how? What else on the card are you intrigued by?
DAYNE FOX, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
Jedrzejczyk all the way. Penne is a tough gamer and holds a grappling advantage, but her striking is nowhere near the level of Joanna Champion, and she doesn't have the wrestling chops to get the champion to the ground where she might actually have a chance. I like Penne to hang in there longer than Carla Esparza did, but it won't be much further into the fight before Joanna stops her with punches in... we'll say the third round.
There isn't much else on the card besides prospects for the future and strangely enough, none of the ones worth watching are on the main card. Mairbeck Taisumov, Arnold Allen, Niklas Backstrom, Scott Askham, Magomed Mustafaev, and Ulka Sasaki all seem to have bright futures, but that doesn't mean I'd favor all of them in their fights.
FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I think Jedrzejczyk picks Penne apart on the feet and picks up the TKO victory. Penne is a good fighter, but Jedrzejczyk is so strong on the feet that I think she prevails. I'm really looking forward to this fight as the rest of the card is one that I'm just hoping for the best with. I don't have expectations, I'm just hoping for a good night of fights. If I get that, I'm happy. The potential is there for some really good fights, but it's always possible that doesn't happen. I think the crowd will help carry the evening a bit as well.

Look Penne is a great fighter but Joanna is an incredible fighter. I think we see another quick TKO from the Champ as she continues to run over the division in beast mode.
MICHAEL BANE, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I'll take the champ to retain. Jedrzejczyk showcased excellent take down defense in her fight against Carla Esparza, and she's one of the more rare 115 lb. women in the world who apparently can punch people hard enough to put them out. She's also going to have some size on Penne, who has fought previously at atomweight. If Esparza couldn't get her down, I just don't see Penne being able to either, and Jedrzejczyk's striking should allow her to win comfortably. It's so hard to predict a knock out for a women's fight, but let's go with Jedrzejczyk by TKO in the fourth.
As a Fight Pass card in Berlin, this event features a lot more relatively unknown fighters as well as local talent. I'm mostly interested in up-and-coming prospects who have the chance to become contenders than seeing some of the older gatekeeper types who are on the card because of their regional roots. Makwan Amirkhani is a young Finnish fighter with nine finishes (eight by submission) that has some potential. Another intriguing young prospect is Magomed Mustafaev. The Russian fighter trains with American Top Team and has finished every one of his 11 victories. His first foray into the big leagues pits him against a very stiff challenge, as Piotr Hallmann is another young talent who already has four UFC fights under his belt.
