Who wins the Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Mirko Cro Cop rematch at UFC Fight Night 64, and how? What else on the card in Poland stands out, and why?

RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

Who wins? Shot, Or Shotter? Cro Cop has been toast since 2007? 2008 if we're being kind? Sure. 2008. He's been shot for seven years, ever since Alistair Overeem ever-so-gently placed Cro Cop's testicles, formerly out side of his body, into a nice holding cell about two feet up Cro Cop's spine. Since that fight, Cro Cop has lost five of twelve fights, including being submitted by Oleksiy Oliynyk in November 2013. His best wins in that time are either his back-to-back victories over the wasted talent Satoshi Ishii, or against an awe-struck, broken-handed Patrick Barry.

Of course, Gonzaga has Gray Maynard's chin, which is a less-than-ideal predicament for a heavyweight fighter. Even if Cro Cop's legs aren't going to send anyone to the morgue or the hospital anymore, you really have to be able to eat some powerful shots against Cro Cop. Gonzaga's fighting for his UFC career, whereas Cro Cop is making his (third) UFC debut in this fight. Gonzaga has more on the line here. Also, it was barely a year since Gonzaga was able to go the distance against Stipe Miocic. He might not have had the world's best showing, but that still shows a level of talent that Cro Cop might not have in the tank at this point in his career. Of Gonzaga's 16 career victories, each of them has been by submission or (T)KO, and I think he's going to keep that streak alive on Saturday in Poland. Gonzaga in the second by TKO.

FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I'll pick Cro Cop just because I'm rooting for him. He was always one of my favorites so I'll be pulling for him. I think Cro Cop summons up the magic one more time in Poland and knocks Gonzaga out with a headkick. As for the rest of the card, it's not all that good to be honest. Joanne Calderwood vs. Maryna Moroz is a battle between two undefeated fighters so that's kind of cool. The rest is full of fighters no one has ever heard of for the most part so it's hard to know what to expect. That's not a bad thing, though, because I think it'll be an enjoyable card because of the low expectations. That's usually what happens on cards like this, you go in not knowing what to expect and get pleasantly surprised.

BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I mean this fight is nowhere near what it was when they first met, ending when Gonzaga dusted Cro Cop with a dose of his own medicine. I see Cro Cop earning revenge it what could be a a really awful fight.

KALE HAVERVOLD, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I think Gonzaga will win this fight fairly easily, though both men are much past their prime. Jimi Manuwa and Joanne Calderwood are two other fighters on the card to keep an eye out for.

DAYNE FOX, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

This rivals Nate Marquardt vs. James Te Huna as the worst main event the UFC has ever put on. One guy is riding a two fight losing streak and the other washed out of the UFC over three years ago. I know Cro Cop is a legend, but come on!

Now that I have ranted, both of these guys can still pack a punch, with neither owning an iron chin, so it seems inevitable that someone is going to sleep. I'll go with Gonzaga on this one, but I'm far from confident in the pick.

As for anything else that stands out, Claudia Gadelha's injury killed the possibility of me getting excited about anything else on the card. I enjoy watching Joanne Calderwood fight, but she is fighting Maryna Moroz. "Who?" My point exactly. Hopefully she can surprise and be competitive against Jo Jo.
