Who wins the Bellator 135 main event between Joe Warren and Marcos Galvao, and how?
RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
Warren's going to win, and he'll win how he always wins. Pressure, clinch and cage work, and a stifling top game. Easy decision victory for the most predictable and boring fighter (and personality) in the sport today.

I think Warren wins a boring five round decision. Both of these guys are more point fighters than anything else, and I think Warren is better at that than Galvao is. I also think that the fact that both guys are good on the ground contributes to this fight not being all that exciting. They're pretty evenly matched for the most part, and I don't see either guy wanting to take the chance of losing, so I think they both play it safe and that leads to a dull fight. I hope I'm wrong, but the fight history of both guys shows a decided bend towards decision wins. I would love to see Galvao go in there and try to get the upset, but I don't think he'll push forward enough.

Joe Warren is a great competitor, so is Galvao. But Warren is a two division champion who isn't going to get beaten at bantamweight - ironically falling at Bellator 135. I'm going to pick Warren to win a decision, and hopefully he will bring some prestige to the belt, because at this point Bellators titles aren't worth the leather they're bolted onto. Guys like Joe Warren and Pitbull Friere will fix that issue.

I've bet against Warren too many times before thinking that he was physically over-the-hill, and I'm not going to do so again. He may be 38, but he only fought his first MMA bout in 2009, meaning that he has still been adding to his bag of tricks rather than declining. He has proven over his last couple of fights that he has no problem going five rounds, and I expect him to drag this one into deep waters as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see Galvao pull out a submission or KO from out of nowhere, as he has that type of ability, but Warren taking him down and grinding him out round after round sounds more plausible.
