Who wins the Anthony Pettis vs. Rafael dos Anjos title fight at UFC 185, and how?
RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
Pettis won't struggle with dos Anjos. I'd be surprised if dos Anjos gets into the third round before Pettis' left shin finds dos Anjos' cheek. But you know what, let's say he makes it a minute into the third, because I know where my biases lie. Pettis by KO early in the third round.

This is the big one. Anthony Pettis should be a big star, but injuries and long layoffs have prevented that. I have my fingers crossed that he's able to fight multiple times this year, but we'll have to see on that. He's so dynamic and exciting that his fights are incredibly fun to watch. In this fight, I think he takes dos Anjos out when and how he wants. It's nothing against dos Anjos, who's a very good fighter in his own right, but Pettis is so good that he's going to be hard to stop. I've been waffling about when I think Pettis wins, but I'll go with a second round TKO. I think he's just too good on the feet for dos Anjos to deal with, so I think Showtime lives up to his name and gets the highlight reel win.
BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
Dos Anjos is a great fighter, but Anthony Pettis is Anthony Pettis. The only way dos Anjos can win is by out wrestling the champ, but that's a slight chance, so I think we see a Pettis submission to end this fight. He'll continue his reign as champion until he fights the winner of Nurgomedov and Cerrone.

I can't wait to see Pettis back in action, for me he's streets ahead of anyone in the lightweight division at the moment, and Rafael dos Anjos will have to do everything he possibly can if he's to pull of the upset. Since Pettis lost to Guida and the split decision victory of Jeremy Stephens, he's looked nothing short of sensational, finishing his last four opponents within the distance.
Dos Anjos' only chance for me is to get the fight to the ground; that's if he can get Pettis to the ground, and even if he is successful we've all seen how dangerous he is off his back. Pettis is one of the most exciting and diverse fighters not only in his division but within the UFC, and will at some point catch dos Anjos with something different when he's least expecting it!
Easy night's work for Pettis here.
Prediction: Pettis TKO RD.1
