Given what you've seen from him against Jake Ellenberger and now Matt Brown, do you think Robbie Lawler beats Johny Hendricks in his next bout for the UFC Welterweight Championship? Why or why not?
TOM STRONG, MMATORCH UK CONTRIBUTOR
As much as I enjoy watching Robbie Lawler fight, I don't see him bringing anything new to the table when he fights Johny Hendricks once again for the belt. What Lawler does do is simply brilliant, he'll stand and have a fight and look to knock anyone out in front on him. Still, I don't see him improving on what we saw last time out. Hendricks, on the other hand, I can see improving. As we saw Saturday night, Brown had times where he managed to get Lawler to the mat, and though it wasn't for long it proved he can be taken down and held there.
Hendricks I'm sure will look to do more of this the second time around, and instead of having a stand up war which Lawler will love, Hendricks will have a different game plan coming into this fight. I really feel Lawler had his best chance in beating Hendricks the first time around. The second time, I just don't see it happening unless Hendricks gets very sloppy.
I will predict something, though, we are going to get another very entertaining title fight!

I think Lawler does beat Hendricks this time. It was extremely close the first fight, and I think Lawler closes the deal in the second. He's shown tremendous toughness and the ability to mix it up with his striking. I think that gives him confidence that he can beat Hendricks. This should be a very exciting fight, made even more so by their first fight. I would also expect a finish this time around, given the punching power involved.

No way in the world does Robbie Lawler defeat Johny Hendricks anymore than 1 time per ... every 250 attempts. Hendricks already beat him with one arm, and has shown his ability to both defend and attack like that, not to mention survive a bad spot or two. Lawler is a beast at 170; I used to think he was an upper middle card guy, to encode it a solid B or B plus fighter, but since his return he has shown flashes of brilliance, and against anyone not named Johny Hendricks is an easy A or A plus. His resurgence was a shock, but no I don't think that he's going to be able to defeat Johny Hendricks in a title fight.
KALE HAVERVOLD, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I don't think he beats Hendricks. I believe it will be close again, but I think Hendricks will land more in the upcoming fight than he did in the last. I hope to see him really use his wrestling in the rematch as well.
