With the Nick Diaz rematch no longer happening, and after Saturday's performance, how do you feel Carlos Condit matches up with Georges St-Pierre; and if that fight is next who would you pick to win?

RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

Look, we don't KNOW that the supremely athletic Georges St-Pierre we all remember is ever going to walk through that door again. It's possible he's gone; it's possible that he'll come back after 2 or 3 fights. So that adds a layer of speculation on top of the speculation. That said, the GSP we all know and respect takes Carlos Condit down at will and wins a dominant yet workmanlike decision victory. If GSP has proven one thing, it's that if you can't stop his takedowns, you're doomed like Linus Van Pelt saying IF instead of WHEN The Great Pumpkin comes.

FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I think Condit matches up well with GSP. I think Condit is a tougher matchup for GSP than Nick Diaz would have been. GSP would do the exact same thing to Diaz that Condit did. I think Condit vs. GSP would be a really close fight, but I have to go with GSP to win. I'm a big Condit fan, but GSP is one of the best in the world. It'd be a close one, but I think GSP takes a narrow decision.

ERIC HOBAUGH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I feel exactly the way I felt before the fight about Condit's chance against GSP. He is not a realistic threat to the welterweight title. GSP will control the fight standing and take Condit down when he wants. This fight will end the same way his last nine fights have ended. The names on that list include: Jake Shields, Josh Koscheck, Dan Hardy, Thiago Alves, B.J. Penn, Jon Fitch, Matt Serra, Matt Hughes and Josh Koscheck. Condit is a good fighter, but GSP defeated that list of fighters with little trouble. He will have no problem adding Carlos Condit as win number 10.

BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

How do I feel he matches up with GSP? I don't think that he does at all actually. He was able to avoid Nick Diaz's striking game, Jiu Jitsu, and for the most part his take downs. With GSP you're in a whole different end of the pool; he's not going to give up on a shot, he's going to shoot, and hold you there until he finds a way to take you down, and once he has you down he's going to lay on top of you for 25 minutes while randomly cracking you in the face. GSP's wrestling game is impeccable - and his ability to not let opponents get back up is also outstanding. Did I mention he will also close the gap and jab the living daylights out of you? I don't think Condit has a snowball's chance in hades of putting up a fight against GSP if he comes back at 100% and fully prepared. Nick Diaz only did because he got inside of Georges' head and brought emotion into it, Condit's a passive guy hes not going to throw every bit of verbal offense out that Diaz did, so I see GSP grinding out a five round unanimous decision in this fight.

GRIFFIN MARSH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

Wow this is easy. GSP will take Condit down when and where he wants. He will dictate the pace at his leisure. Condit has a puncher's chance, but you never bet on a slim chance; especially against the greatest welterweight of all time.

ALVIN CARTER, MMATORCH SPECIALIST

Condit matches up pretty well with GSP because he can adapt. GSP's most recently challengers did not know how to evolve their game plan in real time. Condit has killer instinct, but he also has restraint as he showed everyone on Saturday night. If he gets a great game plan he could give GSP a run for his money. GSP will be coming off a a long layoff, but I think GSP will win via decision if Condit fits like he did this past weekend.

JASON AMADI, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

If Carlos Condit fights Georges St-Pierre the way he did Nick Diaz, he'll lose a decision and I'm sure he knows that. He fought the way he did against Diaz because no one is going to finish Nick Diaz at this point; it's impossible. However, the same can be said about winning a decision against Georges St-Pierre.

If Condit beats GSP, he's going to have to stop him. I think he can, but I wouldn't favor him to do so.
