The Ultimate Fighter's newest season will debut on FX on Sept. 14, according to a report from MMAJunkie.com. The 16th season of the reality show features heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson as coaches, with 32 fighters competing in a single-elimination tournament.
The show is going back to a taped format after one live season in the spring. The UFC hasn't yet announced the competitors for the upcoming season. The show began filming this month, and will run through the fall into a December Finale event on FX.
