The UFC's first trip to Nottingham, England, will indeed be a Fuel TV event, as the UFC officially confirmed the broadcast plans on Monday.
The card, which emanates from the 10,000 seat Capital FM Arena on September 29, has officially been dubbed "UFC: Nottingham," and will be the fifth main card dedicated to Fuel TV this year.
Two fights have already been announced in Brad Pickett vs. Yves Jabouin and Andy Ogle vs. Akira Corassani.
"We are very excited to be going to Nottingham for the first time," said UFC Managing Director of International Business, Marshall Zelaznik, in a press release for the event. "Some of the biggest names in British mixed martial arts are from Nottingham and the fans have been campaigning for us to bring a fight here for years. The UK fans are among the most passionate UFC supporters on Earth and this is going to be a special night."
Tickets for the event go on sale this week, priced between £75, £100, £150, £185, £225. UFC Fight Club members get the first crack at tickets with a presale on Tuesday, June 12, with UFC Newsletter subscribers getting access on Wednesday, June 13. Tickets open to the general public on Thursday, June 14.
