At the UFC 141 press conference, Alistair Overeem said regarding Brock Lesnar's decision to retire: "I don't think he should walk away. Love him or hate him, it's always something when he fights. It would be a shame if stops now. I think there's more for him to gain."
Dana White said he had no indications that Lesnar had decided to retire from UFC if he lost. He said he talked to Lesnar after the fight and he felt he had a broken rib from the kick at the end. He said he's not going to argue with someone who says he wants to retire. He said he told him he promised his wife he'd retire after this or his next fight.
