UFC 141 comes to pay-per-view on Dec. 30, and tickets for the Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem headlined event are now on sale for UFC Newsletter subscribers, with the public getting access to tickets tomorrow. Additionally, the UFC confirmed that the fight will determine the number one contender for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
Tickets for the event - which comes to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada - range from $75-$800.
"Brock Lesnar is 110 percent healthy and ready to get the world title back," Dana White said in a press release for the fight. "He asked for the toughest test we could find for him and there's no doubt that Alistair Overeem fits the bill. He's been a champion in other organizations and came to UFC to fight the best guys in the world. He wants to show everyone that he's the number one heavyweight in the sport. This fight is the perfect fight to close out 2011."
A press conference for the fight will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2PM PT from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, Calif.
