...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
The Nevada State Athletic Commission only conducted one out-of-competition drug test for UFC 137, and not unexpectedly it was Nick Diaz who was forced to submit a sample.
But the good news is that Diaz passed his the test for drugs of abuse according to a report from MMAJunkie.com. He was not tested for performance enhancers.
Because Diaz has previously failed a drug test in Nevada - testing positive for marijuana after his 2007 bout with Takanori Gomi - he was required to take a test before being licensed in the state. He has passed, though, and thus has been cleared for his fight with B.J. Penn on Saturday night.
