Former Strikeforce heavyweight Brett Rogers is in police custody again, this time on an outstanding warrant.
According to Patch.com, Rogers was arrested at 6AM Monday morning on a warrant issued on Sept. 30 for failing to comply with the conditions of his pre-sentence release.
Rogers plead guilty last month to felony third-degree assault for a June domestic assault incident against his wife. That June arrest immediately led to his release from Strikeforce. He then took a fight with Titan Fighting Championships last month, losing to Eddie Sanchez.
Rogers was scheduled to make his first appearance on this latest arrest on Monday morning, and he still awaits sentencing on his plea deal on Nov. 30. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a fine of $10,000.
