I can't confess to staying up Saturday night to watch the whole event, though I managed to watch the main card Sunday morning with a two year old and five year old wanting to do everything else but let me watch the fights! From what I did see Demetrious Johnson looked outstanding once again, and Rampage Jackson isn't beating anyone inside the top 10 of the light heavyweight division, or in-fact anyone who's semi decent.

Much improved scoring this weekend, and though no player was able to predict 11/11 fights correctly, quite a few nailed 10 of 11 which made for an exciting finish.

Let's see how you all got on along with the quarter final World Cup results.

CONFIDENCE GAME FIGHT PREDICTIONS

31 people submitted an entry for this card. Here’s a combined breakdown of how many confidence points you placed on each fighter (Winner in bold):

Demetrious Johnson - 332
Kyoji Horiguchi - 0

Quinton Jackson - 157
Fabio Maldonado - 34

Michael Bisping - 131
C.B. Dollaway - 26

John Makdessi - 143
Shane Campbell - 21

Thomas Almeida - 255
Yves Jabouin - 8

Patrick Cote - 159
Joe Riggs - 16

Alexis Davis - 25
Sarah Kaufman - 96

Chad Laprise - 222
Bryan Barberena - 7

Olivier Aubin-Mercier - 213
David Michaud - 8

Nordine Taleb - 69
Chris Clements - 29

Valerie Letourneau - 93
Jessica Rakoczy - 3

Randa Markos - 129
Aisling Daly - 9

CONFIDENCE GAME RESULTS

Lisa Smith (65 points)
beat Brian Foe (64 points) and Mac Kinder (56 points) to become the new MMATorch Confidence Picks Champion.

A brilliant performance by Lisa Smith has seen her snatch the title away from Brian in a nail biting finish. Brian lead the way until Michael Bisping's victory over C.B Dolloway, which put pay to his title reign, and a new champion was crowned. Sadly Mac Kinder wasn't anywhere is sight, going (3-4) in the first seven fights which blew any chance he had of becoming the new champion.

The belt is like a hot potato at the moment where no-one can hang onto it for longer than one event.

Next up for Lisa Smith will our very own Dan 'Tucky' Moore who scored a very impressive 81 points, only dropping one point to Sarah Kaufman and landing his joker card to boot. Though he wasn't the only player to score 81 points - Jaymon10002 and Joel '2/8' Wielenga also scored the same amount of points but lost out on a title challenge due to fight outcomes. There was also a four player in the mix who only dropped one point, and that was David Lindahn who scored 77 points, but the refusal to use the joker card (which could've earned him a further four points) cost him the chance to top the pool.

After the tie in this week’s pool, UFC 187 may see an introduction of extra bonus points, for fight outcomes, if players are tied.

Here are the results of the Confidence Picks pool:

81- Dan 'Tucky' Moore
81- Joel Wielenga
81- Jaymon10002
77- David Lindahn
77- Tommy 'Gumbo' Strong
76- Kevin Seng
75- Rich Hansen
75- Charles Mickael
74- Mark Sacchetti
74- Josh Hall
74- David Little
74- John Lewish
73- Eugene Kim
73- Daniel Clark
72- Jason Poirier
71- Charlie Hastings
71- Dennis 'The Crestacean' Fagan
71- Richard Race
67- James 'Browny' Brown
66- Avery Clarke
66- Neal Hollic
65- Anthony Sinnott
65- Lisa Smith
64- Brian Foe
63- Dave Hughes
62- Alex Potapoff
60- Sam Martin
60- Rick Thayer
59- Scott Pipher
56- Mac Kinder
52- Sean 'Babytoe' Simpson

Note: Should either champion, or challenger fail to submit picks for UFC 187 (Johnson vs. Horiguchi) Jaymon10002 and Joel Wielenga would step up as a challenger, and so on. Everyone else will be fighting for the No 1 contender slot on the night, and the right to face off against either Lisa or Dan at UFC 188.

BETTING GAME RESULTS

Mac Kinder
($422.50) beats Sean "Baby Toe" Simpson ($0) to once again become the new MMA Torch Betting Champion. Sean went all out to keep his title, backing underdogs Dolloway, Maldonado, and Riggs to win, though after seeing them all lose it was made very simple for Mac to pick up the win and the title.

Mac Kinder: $422.50

$350 on Laprise for $312.50

$100 on Johnson for $110

Sean "Baby Toe" Simpson

Up next to challenge Mac will be David Lindahn ($2967.76) having narrowly missed out on the confidence picks pool and coming second at the last event, David finally got over the line this weekend to earn a crack at the betting title. His nearest challenger was once again Jaymon1002 who returned ($2269.45) closely followed by the man he was up against in the quarter finals of the World Cup Dan Moore who returned a healthy ($2170.96).

Performer of the Night: No real stand out performer this week, though well done to Dan Moore, Jaymon10002, and Joel Wielenga for hitting 81 points in the confidence picks, and David Lindhan for topping the betting pool.

GOAT: This award is safe as no player deserved the crown.
