There were some very impressive scores this weekend, helped significantly by a lack of underdogs winning. Only White, Romero, and Werdum had been considered underdogs in terms of points allocated in this game. Everything else went to plan and the other ten winners were well backed by most of you.
I sadly had to turn away quite a few entries last night. I highlighted the fact the FOX cards start earlier than pay-per-view events, yet I was still receiving entries after the fifth fight had taken place. I hate turning people away, especially loyal players of the game, but rules are rules.

CONFIDENCE GAME RESULTS
James Lowson (69 points) beat Corey O'Donnell (60 points) to become the new MMA Torch Confidence Picks Champion. Reigning champion Corey was finally derailed and it didn't take a spectacular score to do it. It was James who came through despite dropping points on Payan, Tavares and Browne. Congrats to the new champion who defends his new crown at UFC 172 next weekend.
Next up for the champion is Daniel Clark who scored a superb 90 points and just missed out on a perfect night dropping only one single point. He lost that sole point on Travis Browne and went 12-1 for the night to earn his first title shot. Congrats Dan.

Performer of the Night: There are a few worthy contenders this weekend, but I'm giving this one to Dan Clark for his almost immaculate performance in the confidence picks game.
Goat of the Night: Another first time player finishes bottom of the pile, proving this game isn't as easy as it looks. I'm looking at you, Jack Donaldson.
We'll be back during the week for UFC 172 (Jones vs. Teixeira).
