UFC 159 ended up being a rather strange card, but it was business as usual on the picks front from most of you. The only real upset of the night came courtesy of Pat Healy who defeated the heavily backed Jim Miller.
With regards the James Head vs. Nick Catone fight; because it got cancelled late on, all scores were marked from 12 points down to 2 points. Any picks for Head or Catone were relegated to 1 point and then cancelled. All individual bets on both guys were refunded if you didn't change it after. If in a 3 fighter parlay, either guy was removed and the 2 fighter parlay then remained live.

CONFIDENCE GAME RESULTS
Alex Potapoff (61 points) defeats Nick Williams (56 points) to become the new MMA Torch Confidence Picks Champion. After a Hall of Fame run from champion Nick; his title reign is over. Alex kept up his excellent form over the last few weeks and made the most of his first ever title shot; only dropping points on Belcher, Miller and Magalhaes to earn the title.
Up next for the reigning champion is first time challenger Tommy Strong, who scored an excellent 70 points. Tommy only dropped points on Jim Miller (who didn't) and went 11-1 with his picks. Congratulations pal. Other notable performances from David Clatterbuck and Mark Sacchetti who'll both be disappointed to just miss out on a title shot.

MMA Torch Betting Picks Championship Match Up (UFC on FX 8)
Jimbo Slice (Champion) vs. Tommy Strong (Challenger)
Performer of the Night: Nothing for months and months and then two title shots come along in the same night. Even Tommy Strong surely can't have anything to rant about after his superb performance this weekend.
Goat of the Night: No one deserved the GOAT award for the Philly challenge this weekend. Instead I'm handing out a joint award to Cambo Nelson and Hunter Long who both had a weekend to forget. Don't worry guys, form is temporary but class is permanent. You'll be back.
After four consecutive weekends it's time for a well earned rest. We'll be back in a few weeks for UFC on FX 8 from Brazil.
