Is this honestly a blog? Between this guy and Bent this site really sucks.
Let me get this straight, you pick one fighter to win, yet bet on the
other (Maia). Oh, and you don't even bother to give a prediction on the
McCully fight. Why bother posting anything when you have no care about your
supposed craft?
The good news is you are so bad with your predictions I'll take Maia,
Couture, Rosholt and Soszynsk to win just because you picked the opposite.

Yeah i agree with "this guy" that doesn't make to much sense. Check out
celldefense.com funny video you guys might like, i just watched it today
and couldn't stop laughing.

The failure to provide a pick for the McCully fight was a simple typo on my
part. I should have caught it, though.
Having said that, you need to back off with your comments. You don't know
me, or anything about me. For your information, my best friend's grandma
just died. She was like a mother to him so he was understandably taking it
hard. He also has 3 young kids that he needed some help taking care of in
this really bad time for him.
So yes, how could I be so selfish as to help a friend of 20+ years in a
trying time when I should have been writing a MMA preview for some guy who
thinks I suck?

That really is not an excuse. Just tell your boss you need a day off. I'm
sure Keller would have let you slide on writing a blog for this event if
you had told him you had a death in the family.
You are never going to get to "the big leagues" by writing terrible blogs.
This should be your minor league training to get you ready to write for a
real news organization. However, writing junk just to say you did it makes
you look bad and makes people not respect your work.
It's hard losing a loved one, but you have to be in the right frame of mind
for your job. You are lucky it's just writing a lame column and not
something serious like a surgeon or a pilot. Would you have still done a
half assed job if you had more on the line or would you have taken a few
days off like a normal person?

I wrote that blog because I wanted to take part in the Predictions/Betting
contest. I didn't write it just to say that I did it. I'm under no
obligation to write these blogs. I'm not a professional, I'm just a guy. I
harbor no aspirations of going to "the big leagues", as you put it.
Let me ask you something, can't you read? The title of the blog is "UFC 102
Predictions And Betting Contest Picks". That's exactly what I wrote. I
wrote my predictions and my picks. Were you expecting a long preview? That
was never promised or insinuated.
