WEC NEWS: Chris Horodecki vs. Ed Ratcliff at WEC 51 in September

A lightweight bout between Chris Horodecki and Ed Ratcliff is coming to the increasingly stacked WEC 51 card in September, according to a report from MMAJunkie.com.

Horodecki bounced back from a loss to Anthony Njokuani in his WEC debut at WEC 45 in December when he took out late replacement Danny Downes at WEC 49. The 22 year old is 15-2 in his MMA career.

Ratcliff hasn't fought since the WEC 45 event, where he was submitted by Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in the night's main event.

WEC 51 is set to take place from the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo. on September 30. The stacked card is headlined by a Featherweight Championship bout between Jose Aldo and Manvel Gamburyan.

Penick's Analysis: This is another good lightweight matchup for this card. It's probably not going to wind up on the televised portion of the card, but it could still find its way onto Versus depending on time and how the fight goes. This card is a really good one for the Colorado fans, and will be the second straight WEC card filled with very high level fights.
