The undercard of the UFC's event in Berlin wasn't exactly brimming with meaningful fights, and the fights that it did showcase weren't barnburners by any stretch. In the fight that kicked off the main card, Nick Hein took a unanimous nod over the previously undefeated Lukasz Sajewski in a fight that just kind of happened.
Peter Sobotta made short work of Steve Kennedy in the second fight, making him pay for a takedown attempt that quickly led to Sobotta taking his back and locking in a tight rear naked choke with a little over two minutes remaining in the opening frame.
In the co-main event, Tatsuya Kawijiri overcame a strong first round from Denis Siver and took the next two by outwrestling the longtime UFC vet and making him pay for any attempted offense.
