"You know what, Urijah's my friend and business partner, and I'm definitely rooting for him to win. It'll be great for our business that we have that we're working together to have two champions involved with it. It'd be great because I'm a personal fan of Urijah but to be real and to be a martial artist I think it's gonna be a very tough fight for him. If I actually had to put my money on it I would think that Dominick Cruz would win the fight. He's been winning very impressively and he seems to be always improving, Urijah's last two fights haven't been finishes. My prayers will be going out to Urijah and I hope he does phenomenal, but Dominick Cruz is a tall order for everyone right now."
-UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones talks to Luke Thomas at SBNation.com and discusses the UFC 132 main event fight between Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber.
Penick's Analysis: He's being honest about the fight and how he sees the match up, which is a nice change from simply picking friends just to pick friends. Faber may not react kindly to the comments, but regardless Jones is right about the fight. Although he's wrong about Faber's last two fights. He choked out Takeya Mizugaki two fights ago before his decision win at UFC 128. But Cruz has come a long way since losing to Faber four years ago, and regardless of Faber fighting at a high level of his own, this is the most difficult fight he's had since facing Jose Aldo. It should be a fantastic fight, but for Faber to capture the UFC title for the first time it's going to take a career-best performance.
