For the second straight event, UFC fans will have the option of watching every fight on a card, as UFC officials announced on Tuesday that the three preliminary card fights not scheduled for the Spike TV broadcast will stream live on Facebook.com.
The lightweight bout between Bart Palaszewski and Gleison Tibau, a bantamweight bout between Michael McDonald and Chris Cariaso, and a featherweight fight between Cole Escovedo and Renan Barao will all stream live on the UFC's page at Facebook.com/UFC.
The UFC aired all five of last month's UFC 129 preliminary card fights from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and this will be just the second event in which they've aired all of the fights on a card.
The Facebook streams have become a staple of UFC events in 2011, and this continues the natural evolution for the organization to air all of the fights they've got booked for those that want to seek them out.
Penick's Analysis: This is awesome news, and I hope the UFC continues this trend moving forward. Having all the fights available to watch is great for the fans, and for the fighters who will be seen by more people. Most fans weren't searching out the prelims in the UFC Vault online, so having them air live allows the hardcore fans that want to see every fight the chance to see them as they happen.
