The hour long "Prelims Live" broadcasts on Spike TV continue to pull good numbers for the network, as Saturday's UFC 128 edition drew an average of 1.3 million viewers.
The number was slightly below the average viewership the specials have brought to Spike, but still represented a major increase from the UFC's Ion Television prelims broadcast for UFC 127 in February.
Saturday's broadcast featured Luiz Cane's first-round TKO over Eliot Marshall, along with the exciting lightweight bout between Edson Barboza and Anthony Njokuani.
The Spike broadcasts have garnered between 1.1 and 2 million viewers for the hour long specials, and the network will air a total of 12 specials in 2011. Next month's UFC 129 event and May's UFC 130 will be the next two events to receive the specials.
