The UFC is once again bringing preliminary card fights to Facebook for next week's UFC 128 event.
According to a report from MMAJunkie.com, two preliminary card fights will stream live on Facebook by "liking" the UFC page at Facebook.com/UFC.
The UFC will broadcast the lightweight bout between Kurt Pellegrino and Gleison Tibau, as well as the welterweight bout between Ricardo Almeida and Mike Pyle. It's possible the UFC could add more bouts to the Facebook stream, but nothing has been officially announced by the organization.
The main pay-per-view card airs live at 10PM ET from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, headlined by the Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Jon Jones.
Penick's Analysis: I really hope the UFC is adding more than just these two on Facebook, because keeping Joseph Benavidez vs. Ian Loveland and Erik Koch vs. Raphael Assuncao off of being broadcast in some form is a shame. Hopefully they are both the exciting fights they look like on paper, that way they'll make their way onto the televised broadcast anyway. UFC 128 is going to be an exciting event, and there will be lots of fights for fans to enjoy next week in New Jersey.
