The UFC 127 card coming to Australia later this month may be suffering a rough blow to the main card, as Sportsnet.ca reports that Carlos Condit has suffered an injury.

Per the report, Condit has suffered a knee injury in training that may pull him out of his bout with Chris Lytle on the card in Sydney, Australia.

Condit, who is coming off a first round knockout of Dan Hardy in London last October, was looking to move his current winning streak to four straight fights in this bout with Lytle, and was attempting to move closer to a title shot in the welterweight division.

Lytle would be going for his fifth straight win in the division, coming off of a decision victory over Matt Serra back at UFC 119 in September.

UFC 127 takes place from the Acer Arena on Sunday, February 27, airing live in the U.S. with the time delay on February 26, headlined by a welterweight bout between B.J. Penn and Jon Fitch.

Penick's Analysis: If he's forced out of the fight that's a really crappy blow to the card. This was one fight everyone was looking forward to, and to lose it just weeks out is really unfortunate. With it being so close to the event, I don't know that they'd find a replacement for Lytle, so maybe that fight can still come on a different card if Condit is pushed out.

UPDATE: MMAJunkie.com reports that Condit's injury will sideline him for at least a month and he has, indeed, been pulled from the card.
