"I will beat the sh** out of John Hathaway. Let's face it; the fight that he had with Diego [Sanchez] wasn't an awesome, back-and-forth fight. Diego's a small, somewhat average [sized lightweight]... I'm a big welterweight, I'm a long welterweight. He’s fought a lot of shorter opponents. He's had a reach advantage, and he's been able to use that really well. He stayed away from actually having to get in a fight with [Diego]. It's not an, 'Oh my god, if I don't get him down, there's nothing I can do [situation]’. I could knock the kid out. I almost knocked out the last dude. This kid's going to be in for hell. I ain't Diego Sanchez. His last fight was a good and easy fight. This time, he's in for the fight of his life... I can't wait for [the British fans] to boo me. I'm going to suck it all up and spit it right back out at all them crooked-teethed Englishmen."
-Mike Pyle talks to MMAJunkie.com about being prepared to be the bad guy in England at UFC 120 when he takes on John Hathaway.
Penick's Analysis: Well, Pyle can certainly lay down some trash talk, but he's not rolling through John Hathaway in the U.K. He's got some very good skills, but Hathaway is a very impressive welterweight at 14-0. Pyle is 2-2 in his fights in the UFC, and although he's got six submission wins in his last eight fights it's going to be a very tough task to get past Hathaway. Comments like these will certainly get some attention, but we'll find out on October 16 if Pyle can back any of it up.

The headlining bout between Phil Davis and Rashad Evans averaged 6.1 million viewers, meaning the peak number for the event will still come in somewhat higher than that. The opening bout between Demian Maia and Chris Weidman was seen by an average of four million viewers...
I am very nervous that Carlos Condit will win on Saturday night, and that I won't be able to fight Nick Diaz this summer. Carlos Condit is a very good fighter, he can strike, he is aggressive and he has submissions...
Georges St-Pierre is the only logical choice for Sonnen, since he's made it clear to the world at large that Anderson Silva wants nothing to do with him. And since everything that comes out of Chael's mouth when hyping a fight can be taken as gospel...
