"I have just been hanging out this last couple of days. But I am going to stick to what I said about being as active as I can. So that's it, I am going to try to contact the UFC, get a fight as soon as possible. Luckily I didn't get injured so I got no injuries. I can still build off what I built in the last camp. I didn't go out, I didn't party or anything so that is it."
-Former Lightweight Champion B.J. Penn, in a message to fans at BJPenn.com, says he wants to get right back to action.
Penick's Analysis: That's great that he's got a desire to get back in there right away, but I don't know how he can "build" off of a camp that wrought that performance against Edgar. He needs to get his camp in order, get himself in order, and figure out if he truly wants to fight at a high level or if he just wants to sound like he wants to fight at a high level. I hope he comes back strong, because a strong, focused and vicious B.J. Penn is still one of the most exciting fighters to watch.

"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
