The Oxford University debate club has invited UFC President Dana White to speak to its members, according to a report from the Associated Press.
The Oxford Union Society, which has been around for 187 years, has extended the invitation to White to speak on October 13, where White says he is "expecting to respond to tough questions with straight answers."
White joins a group of speakers at the debate club that includes Sir Winston Churchill, Robert Kennedy, Yasser Arafat, Malcolm X, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, as well as U.S. presidents Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.
Penick's Analysis: White's appearance here will be very interesting. He made a splash at a conference of CEO's earlier this year, and as the very vocal frontman for the UFC he's been the go to guy for the company. Getting this invite is definitely an honor, and it will be an extremely notable Q&A for White and the UFC. White will, of course, be in the UK that week for UFC 120, which takes place from London's O2 Arena on October 16.
