The UFC 121 card in October continues to fill out, as MMAJunkie.com reports that welterweights Mike "The Joker" Guymon and Daniel Roberts will face off on the preliminary card of the night's event.
Both fighters hold 1-1 records in the UFC, and both have put that record together in very similar fashion.
Guymon was defeated by Rory MacDonald by first round armbar earlier this year before returning at UFC 113 to pick up a decision victory over Yoshiyuki Yoshida.
Roberts, meanwhile, bounced back from a knockout loss against John Howard to defeat Forrest Petz by decision at UFC 116 earlier this month.
The two will now meet in October at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on October 23. That event will be headlined by the UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez.
Penick's Analysis: This is a nice preliminary card addition to the 121 card. Already a really strong main card, the UFC will still need to fill out the remainder of the event, and this is a good bout for that. Both guys will be out to make it two straight victories after losses in their respective UFC debuts.
