Two new additions to the UFC roster could be coming to the UFC's first trip to Vancouver, CA, at UFC 115, according to separate published reports from MMAJunkie.com. Welterweight Claude Patrick and heavyweight Travis Browne are coming to the UFC, per the reports, and both are possibilities for the card at expected for the GM Place in Vancouver.
Patrick announced his four fight deal on The Fight Show with Mauro Ranallo, and brings an 11-1 record to his UFC debut. Based out of Toronto, Ontario, CA, a province that still outlaws MMA, Patrick has eight submission victories to his credit and nine of his 11 fights ending in the first round.
Browne is a 9-0 heavyweight that has fought all of his fight in the last year. His highest profile fight came during Bellator's 1st season last year, where he picked up a unanimous decision victory. Seven of his wins have come by knockout or TKO.
While no opponent is known for Patrick's debut, Browne is expected to face The Ultimate Fighter season ten veteran James McSweeney in his debut. Their bout will either come on the 115 card or the Ultimate Fighter's eleventh season finale the following week.
Penick's Analysis: Both appear to be solid signings to their respective divisions. Browne is still very early into his MMA career, but with the top heavy heavyweight division in the UFC he's got plenty of fighters that he can face to develop in the Octagon. Patrick's path has a bigger challenge, as there is no shortage of quality welterweights in the UFC. The Vancouver fans are in for a good looking show right now.

"There's still a large contingent of people, that they just want to see these guys almost die, or the other guy almost die and come back, and sometimes fights are like that. Certainly they are. But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...

"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
