They will be bringing a newly created show, UFC: Main Event, to the FIVE network. FIVE is one of five terrestrial networks in the U.K. and it has a reach to 30 million viewers.
The Main Event show will feature highlights of recent major events with top fights and undercard fights as well, starting next Monday, September 14th at midnight, featuring the UFC 102 bout between Randy Couture and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
There's a new home for The Ultimate Fighter in the U.K. as well, as FIVE's sister network, FIVE USA, will air the tenth season on a three day delay on Saturdays, starting on the 19th.
UFC U.K. President Marshall Zelaznik said in a statement from the UFC, "This is a huge step for the UFC in the UK. We are delighted to partner up with FIVE - who are trailblazers in their approach to both sports and programming - and bring the best bouts and the world's greatest fighters to the largest possible audience. We know we are going to create a whole new generation of UFC fans on FIVE."
