The UFC served as the regulatory body for last weekend's UFC Fight Night 78 event in Monterrey, Mexico, and as such were responsible for handing out medical suspensions to fighters who came out of the event with some type of ailment.

According to the list of suspensions (released via MixedMartialArts.com), nine different fighters are out up to six months unless cleared earlier by physicians. Among that list were main event victor Neil Magny, who has to get his left hand cleared before he can return. As one of the busiest fighters on the UFC roster the last few years, he's likely hoping to get that taken care of as soon as possible.

Others receiving six month terms were Diego Sanchez, who got busted up badly and injured his leg in a loss to Ricardo Lamas, and Scott Jorgensen, who was listed with a hand injury, but who also suffered a leg injury that brought an end to his fight with Alejandro Perez.

The full list of suspensions is below:

Neil Magny: suspended 180 days unless doctor clears left hand; regardless, suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 21 days for precautionary reasons
Ricardo Lamas: suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days for precautionary reasons
