The UFC is once again trying to get a fight between Doo Ho Choi and Sam Sicilia together, announcing this week that the featherweights will square off on the UFC Fight Night 79 card in Seoul, South Korea, on Nov. 28.
Injuries to Choi took him out of two previously scheduled matchups with Sicilia, once in May of 2014 at UFC 173, and again at UFC Fight Night 71 in July. In between those bookings, Choi made his official UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 57 last November. The South Korean competitor rode his winning streak to ten straight with an 18-second TKO over Juan Puig.
Sicilia, who entered the UFC in 2012 out of the live season of The Ultimate Fighter, has gone 4-4 since dropping to the featherweight division. His four wins have all come in his last six fights, and he's entering this event on a two-fight winning streak.
UFC Fight Night 79 is likely to air on UFC Fight Pass, and will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Benson Henderson and Thiago Alves.
