Top ten UFC featherweight Nik Lentz is moving back up to lightweight for a bout this December, as the Orlando Sentinel reports that Lentz will take on Danny Castillo at UFC on Fox 17 in Orlando.
Lentz, currently fighting out of American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla., is in need of a win after losses to Chad Mendes and Charles Oliveira in two of his last three. The Oliveira loss came more than a year after his previous bout, a win over Manvel Gamburyan in May of 2014.
He moves back to 155 lbs. for the first time since January of 2012, taking on another long tenured competitor in Castillo. Team Alpha Male's Castillo is in even more desperate need of a victory, having lost three straight fights and four of his last five. Two of those have come in 2015, with Castillo suffering a spinning back fist KO loss to Paul Felder before dropping a split decision to Jim Miller in July.
UFC on Fox 17 takes place from the Amway Center in Orlando on December 19, headlined by the UFC Lightweight Championship bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone.
