"I'm going to f*** him up. I'm not going to jump with that f***ing stupid flying knee. It is going to be a different match. I would love to fight him. I would love to have a rematch but I don't know. It's up to the UFC. If Dana White [signs Fedor], great. When I see Dana White next time I'm going to ask him, 'please, please, if you're going to sign Emelianenko, just give me a rematch. Please, please.'"
-During a chat with fans this week, Andrei Arlovski addressed the potential for Fedor Emelianenko to sign with the UFC, and how he thinks a rematch would go (via FoxSports.com).
Penick's Analysis: Arlovski was in a good place when he fought Emelianenko in Affliction, and though he got a massive payday in that fight it began a rough run for him. He's recovered beautifully from that stretch, though, and looked great in a win over Travis Browne earlier this year. If the UFC winds up bringing Emelianenko in, a fight with Arlovski could be a great rematch, and the Belorussian would have every chance of avenging that loss.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
