Jan Blachowicz has a new opponent for UFC 191 after getting pulled from a fight with Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, as the UFC has announced that he'll take on Ultimate Fighter winner Corey Anderson on the card.
Blachowicz was pulled from the Johnson fight because the man who defeated him last, Jimi Manuwa, was cleared to fight on the event, whereas he'd still been on the sidelines due to injury when the fight was initially announced. That loss to Manuwa was his first in the UFC, and snapped a six fight winning streak.
Anderson, who won the light heavyweight tournament during the 19th season of the long-running reality show, has gone 1-1 since that TUF win. After a decision win over late replacement Justin Jones, he was stopped by Gian Villante in April.
UFC 191 comes to Las Vegas on Sept. 5 on pay-per-view, headlined by the Flyweight Championship bout between Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson and John Dodson.
