The second official fight set for October's UFC 192 event in Houston is coming in the heavyweight division.
The UFC announced on Thursday that Shawn Jordan will take on Ruslan Magomedov on the card, which hits the Toyota Center on Oct. 3 with a headlining bout between Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson.
Jordan, 30, returns home to Texas on a three-fight winning streak, and enters this event off one hell of a highlight-reel victory over Derrick Lewis in June. Jordan caught Lewis with a side hook kick in the second round at UFC Fight Night 68, his seventh stoppage win inside the Octagon.
As for Magomedov, the 13-1 fighter has won both of his appearances inside the Octagon, and is riding an eight-fight winning streak into this event.
