"You want to know how confident this kid is? I can't even believe I'm going to say this, but, he told Lorenzo and I the other day 'I'll bet you $3 million I knock him out in the second round.' I like to bet, I don't know if I'm that willing to take that bet. When I tell you how extremely confident this guy is in himself, it's fascinating. He is a very unique, fascinating person to listen to. Fun to listen to, and fun to watch."

Penick's Analysis: This doesn't really surprise me at all. McGregor seems like the exact type of person to make a bet like that. Of course, bet or no, if McGregor goes into the MGM Grand Saturday night and knocks Chad Mendes out, the UFC should be paying him a whole bunch of money anyway. That would be an absolutely insane finish, not to mention the fact that it'd be a license for the UFC to print money as they set up the fight with Aldo again later in the year.
