A few new fights and fighters have been added to the UFC Fight Night card coming to Japan in September.
In addition to the main event between Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson, as well as the co-main event between Gegard Mousasi and Roan Carneiro, the UFC confirmed that Li Jingliang will take on Kiichi Kunimoto, and Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto will face Matt Hobar.
Kyoji Horiguchi will also compete on the card in his first fight since a failed bid to capture the UFC Flyweight Championship. However, his opponent is not yet set for the card.
Beijing's Jingliang is 2-1 in his three UFC appearances thus far, most recently knocking out Dhiego Lima in May. The 34-year-old Kunimoto won three straight fights in the Octagon before getting submitted by Neil Magny in February.
Yamamoto has just one win in his last six years of competition, a 2010 KO win in DREAM. He returned to the cage in February for the first time in three years, but it ended early and unfortunately when eye pokes delivered to Roman Salazar led to a no contest.
He'll try to get his first win in the Octagon against Hobar, who seeks his second win in four tries in what will be his first trip to Japan. In a unique stat, Hobar's entire 12 fight career has happened in the time since Yamamoto's last victory.
The UFC Fight Night Japan event comes on September 27, and is expected to air live on UFC Fight Pass.
