Post-fight comments aside, Yoel Romero put forth a spectacular display of violence in his main event win over Lyoto Machida on Saturday night, and it earned him one of four bonuses at UFC Fight Night 70.

The UFC announced at the post-fight press conference that Romero, Lorenz Larkin, Santiago Ponzinibbio, and Thiago Santos each earned an extra $50,000 for their efforts on Saturday's card in Hollywood, Fla.

Romero took Machida out in the third round following a tentative couple of opening rounds. Both were patient, trying to find their range, and Romero began finding his in the third. He wound up throwing Machida to the ground on a well timed trip, and then out of nowhere unleashed a torrent of quick elbows to the face that put Machida out cold.

In the co-main event, Lorenz Larkin showed again how well welterweight is suiting him, beating up Santiago Ponzinibbio en route to a second round TKO finish. Larkin's striking was fantastic from the outset, as he chopped up Ponzinibbio's lead leg with kicks and found his range for several combinations. He allowed himself to get backed up a bit to much, giving Ponzinibbio some offensive openings, but he eventually dropped the Brazilian with a great combination, and did a bunch more damage before the fight was finally called.

Finally, Thiago Santos earned his bonus money in just 29 seconds of cage time, cracking Steve Bosse with a vicious - and loud - head kick. That single strike brought an emphatic end to the proceedings.
