Bethe Correia is claiming she was unaware of the story of Ronda Rousey's father, and she's now asking forgiveness for making a comment about how she hopes Rousey "doesn't kill herself" after UFC 190.
In response to Rousey calling her out on Twitter over the insensitive and absolutely unnecessary comment, Correia posted the following on Twitter:
@RondaRousey Never knew what happened to ur dad.I'm humble enough to ask u for forgiveness. Family is a godly bless to me. See u in #UFC190
Penick's Analysis: Correia never should have made the comment regardless of whether or not she knew about Rousey's father, but it's right to address it after the fact. Regardless, she's succeeded in poking the bear here, and I really don't know how that's going to help her come August 1.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
