The women's strawweight fight between Rose Namajunas and Nina Ansaroff will no longer happen tonight at UFC 187.
It was announced this afternoon that Ansaroff is suffering from the flu, and the fight has been called off. Ansaroff missed weight on Friday by a significant amount, coming in at 120 lbs. for the 115 lb. matchup.
According to an official UFC statement, doctors deemed Ansaroff "medically unfit" to continue on with the bout. With both fighters weighing in on Friday, it's likely they'll at least receive their "show" money, though that has not yet been clarified. It's also not yet known which of the UFC Fight Pass prelims will be shifted to the Fox Sports 1 prelims.
