"I left him alone with this whole drug-test thing. But then we just found out during camp he had a 1200 testosterone score. I'm 10 years younger than him and he's got a way higher testosterone level. This guy is still cheating. I'm gonna make him pay for it tomorrow night."
-Chris Weidman lays into Vitor Belfort following Friday's weigh-ins, referencing a report from ESPN's Brett Okamoto stating Belfort's testosterone levels from a March random drug test.
Penick's Analysis: Now, while the testosterone levels cited by Okamoto in Belfort's two drug tests in March and April may seem a bit suspect (1200 ng/dl and 500 ng/dl, respectively), the tests were conducted using urinalysis alone. Without blood tests to determine the numbers, these are not the best figures to make any real determination. They seem suspect, but aren't themselves proof of anything. Still, Weidman will use whatever motivation he needs on Saturday night, and he's taking offense to the very idea that Belfort, off TRT and older than him, somehow has higher testosterone than him.
