An injury has taken Gilbert Burns out of next month's UFC Fight Night 67 event in Brazil, according to a report from Combate in that country.
Stepping in as an injury replacement is Francisco Trinaldo, who will take on Burns' originally scheduled opponent in Norman Parke. The undefeated Burns had been hoping to keep that run alive after winning his tenth straight fight, but will have to heal up before he can continue his current run.
Trinaldo will enter the Octagon for the tenth time since debuting out of the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil." He's gone 6-3 in his previous nine appearances, picking up decision wins in his last two fights.
Parke, who won "The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes" season in 2012, is out to bounce back from his first UFC loss, suffered by split decision to Gleison Tibau in January.
UFC Fight Night 67 comes to Goiania on May 30 with a main event fight between Carlos Condit and Thiago Alves. The event will air live on Fox Sports 1.
