A fight between Al Iaquinta and Bobby Green is heading to San Diego in July, as it was reported on the UFC 186 post-fight show that the two will meet at UFC Fight Night 71.
Iaquinta will try to make it five wins in a row in the UFC's lightweight division after a controversial split decision over Jorge Masvidal earlier this month. The New Yorker didn't handle the boos from the crowd all that well, dropping some expletives towards them in his post-fight interview.
He'll try to put that behind him against Green, who dropped a decision to Edson Barboza last fall to snap an eight-fight winning streak. The 28-year-old had won his previous four inside the Octagon, including a decision win over former Strikeforce Champ Josh Thomson.
UFC Fight Night 71 comes to San Diego on July 15, airing live on Fox Sports 1 with a heavyweight headliner between Frank Mir and Todd Duffee.
