Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza submitted Chris Camozzi in just over three and a half minutes in his UFC debut back in 2013.
He needed just two and a half minutes to do so again at UFC on Fox 15.
The late notice rematch between the two ended at the 2:33 mark of the first round when Camozzi verbally tapped to an armbar. The finish was set up by some slick ground work by Jacare, as he scaled up the wall to pass to side control, then snaked around Camozzi to snatch the arm.
Camozzi briefly tried to fight it off, but Souza needed to simply apply a little more pressure to force the verbal tap. That makes five straight losses in the UFC for Camozzi after scoring two wins outside of the organization, though he's likely going to get another fight in the Octagon due to stepping up on short notice.
Jacare has now won eight straight fights dating back to his loss to Luke Rockhold for the Strikeforce Title, including five in a row for his UFC career.
