It seems Anderson Silva believes he's going to find himself exonerated when he presents evidence to the Nevada Athletic Commission, because he's trying to get fights booked already.
In a post to Instagram, Silva said he wants a rematch with Nick Diaz, believing there is now unfinished business given their subsequent drug test failures.
"I believe that there is some things that are unfinished between me & Nick Diaz," Silva wrote. "I now hope that you, Dana White can accept my request & make a rematch possible in my country, Brazil."
Silva's hearing with the NAC got pushed back a second time earlier this month, and will now come at the commission's May meeting.
Penick's Analysis: If Diaz is up for fighting Silva in Brazil, I suppose it could happen eventually, just probably not until February 2016 at the earliest. They're both likely to be suspended until January 31 of next year; given what we've seen from the Nevada commission, that could be the case no matter what each of them argue in their defense. Regardless, it seems this is bound to keep being a conversation until an actual suspension gets handed down.
