Conor McGregor took further shots at UFC Lightweight Champ Rafael dos Anjos this week while promoting his matchup with Jose Aldo, and dos Anjos responded in kind on Twitter.
Responding to questions from fans about McGregor's most recent comments, dos Anjos said he'd enjoy fighting McGregor, but doesn't think it's going to happen.
Penick's Analysis: Give McGregor credit, he's gotten the attention of the fighters he needs to aggravate to set up further big fights. If he gets past Aldo - and that's a big if - a fight with dos Anjos could be another really big fight for him, and the UFC could potentially be interested in giving him home advantage for it. He has to beat Aldo to even make that a possibility, but he could be set for several major fights in a row if he pulls off the upset in Las Vegas later this year.
