Gilbert Burns is getting back into the cage this May after stealing victory from the jaws of defeat a little over a week ago at UFC Fight Night 62.
According to a report from Portal do Vale Tudo, Burns will take on Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night 67 in Goiania, Brazil, on May 30.
The undefeated Burns was on his way to dropping a decision against the surprising newcomer Alex Oliveira earlier this month, but got the fight to the ground and wound up scoring an armbar with less than a minute left in the fight. That moved him to 10-0 overall, and was his ninth career stoppage victory.
Parke, the lightweight winner of "The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes," suffered his first UFC loss in January, dropping a decision to Gleison Tibau. That snapped an eleven fight unbeaten streak for the native of Northern Ireland.
UFC Fight Night 67 will air live on Fox Sports 1 with a welterweight bout between Carlos Condit and Thiago Alves in the night's main event.
