Following an impressive beating over Dhiego Lima in his last outing, Tim Means is making a short notice turn around as an injury replacement at UFC on Fox 15 next month.
The UFC announced on Tuesday that Means will step in for the injured Kenny Robertson to take on George Sullivan on the card.
Means is in his second stint in the UFC, and he's found further success at 170 lbs. than he did as a lightweight the first time around. Though he dropped a decision to the surging Neil Magny in his return, he's rattled of three straight wins in the last eight months.
He'll try to make that four against Sullivan, who has won his first two fights in the UFC thus far. The New Jersey native is 16-3 with one no contest in his 20 fight career, and he's won eight fights in a row dating back four years.
UFC on Fox 15 hits the Prudential Center in Newark on April 18, headlined by the middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold and Lyoto Machida.
